Nollywood

This name used to threaten even Hollywood and Bollywood when we heard of Pete Edochie , Sam locko Efe, Emeka Ike, Jym Yke, Genevieve Nnanji etc. these actors and directors like Chidi Chekere, Teko Benson etc told us real stories in the movies. we enjoyed NOLLYWOOD. As a Cameroonian, I was proud to say I am an African by culture because of NOLLYWOOD. Things got so better and better till we got too comfortable not to realize the invasion of nollywood by clowns in the name of producers, directors and actors who have no lessons to teach us through movies. very shallow and superficial movies. I was forced to stop watching Nollywood movies because I did not understand what happened that every movie was now about Love and women. it became natural for me to watch foreign cultural films like Bollywood series, south American series etc.
Then I started noticing an African Man in the movies again. Ugezu J Ugezu.

African culture and stories
African props and sets etc.
telling us African tales with the grandeur of Africanism.
this Man from then till now has remained the only PRODUCERM AND DIRECTOR who is worthy to be called NOLLYWOOD PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR. the rest are skit makers. sorry to say this. the Ruth kadiri and other recent producers so much loved is just a SKIT MAKER to me.
UGEZU J UGEZU’s movies are the only relic in the long deleted splendor of NOLLYWOOD and i think all others should go back to their drawing board and even seek counsel from HIM.
