The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) supports Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali by donating N20M to assist in the burial arrangements for his late parents.
The NFF had earlier sent condolences after the death of his father, with its President, Mohammed Sanusi, describing the passing of a parent as a deeply sorrowful experience.
In light of these back-to-back tragedies, Nwabali has been granted compassionate leave and was excused from the Super Eagles’ trip to Russia.
The football photographer, Pooja, revealed that the federation had sent N20M to the goalie to support in the burial ceremony.
